Hyun-seung is interested in Song-ah, a merchandiser in a cosmetics company but becomes aware that she is already in a committed relationship with their manager; he intends to supress his feelings for her until he learns of an interesting fact.

Hyun-seung feels helpless watching Song-ah witness a shocking sight involving Jae-shin and forces himself to accept it; Song-ah goes to meet Jae-shin with one last ray of hope.

Hyun-seung and Song-ah quarrel on a work trip. Meanwhile, Jae-shin comes to visit Song-ah on her work trip to end their relationship and witness Hyun-seung and Song-ah together.

Song-ah and Hyun-seung agree to a fake relationship in order to fool Jae-shin; however, the two grow close; Jae-shin attempts to persuade Song-ah, looking for a window of opportunity, but Hyun-seung will not stand by watching.

Jae-shin tries to split up Song-ah and Hyun-seung by sending her overseas; when Hyun-seung hears the news, he is driven to intoxicating himself.

Song-ah considers the offer to relocate to Europe, and Hyun-seung asks of her intentions. Meanwhile, Hyun-seung fills in for a promotional model after a no-show.
