Jimmie Allen

Country music singer/songwriter Jimmie Allen was born in Milton, Delaware and then moved to Nashville in 2007. Allen auditioned for "American Idol" (Fox, 2001-16; ABC, 2018-) but was cut prior to the live voting rounds. He was signed to a label in 2017 and released an EP. "Best Shot," his first official single, was released in 2018 and made into a music video. The single made it to no. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, as did his second single, "Make Me Want To." Throughout his career, Allen has partnered with some well known artists such as Noah Cyrus, Brad Paisley, Noah Schnacky and Nick Carter. Allen has made guest appearances on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" (CBS, 2015-22), "The Voice" (NBC, 2011-) and others and performed on various music specials and award shows including "2020 CMT Music Awards"(CMT, 2020), "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2021" (ABC, 2020), "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" (ABC, 2021) and "The 56th CMA Awards" (CMA, 2022). Allen also served as a coach and judge on "My Kind of Country" (AppleTV+, 2023-).
