Zoey sets Ted up on a date with her naïve cousin. Ted realises that he loves Zoey but tries to push her away so that he doesn't cause trouble in her relationship. Meanwhile, Marshall takes up some of his old habits.

Belly Full of Turkey

Barney declares February 13th to be `Desperation Day', a holiday for women with low self-esteem because they are destined to be alone on Valentine's Day.

Ted is upset when his mum marries her long-term partner and walks out of the wedding refusing to give a speech. Later, he grows morose and disappointed that he isn't married with children and buys a dilapidated house on a whim. However, will his friends' reactions convince him to get rid of the house?

Marshall and Lily worry that Lily will never fall pregnant. To allay their fears, the couple visit a specialist who bears an uncanny resemblance to Barney.
