Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Tanjiro Kamado's modest and blissful life in the mountains ends abruptly when his family is slaughtered by demons.

Tanjiro heads for Mt Sagiri with his sister Nezuko, who is now a demon. During the night, Tanjiro smells blood coming from inside a temple and goes to investigate.

Tanjiro trains for two years under Urokodaki, sharpening his senses and becoming adept with the sword. He must split apart a certain boulder in order to enter the Demon Slayer Corp.

Tanjiro enters Final Selection and must survive for seven days on Mt Fujikasane, where demons captured by the Demon Slayers are imprisoned and waiting to attack.

When day breaks, Tanjiro and the other survivors are welcomed into the Demon Slayer Corps and issued uniforms and Kasugai Crows as messengers. Then they must select the ore for their very own Nichirin swords.

Tanjiro receives his first assignment for the Demon Slayer Corps and heads to a town in the northwest where girls are vanishing nightly. There, he meets Kazumi, haggard with worry after his girlfriend's abduction.
