Alec Steele is a British blacksmith and YouTuber. His videos follow both vlog and documentary formats when focusing on blacksmithing, machining, restoration, and other adjacent trades. Steele began blacksmithing at the age of 11, which he started a business for at the age of 16. Despite uploading short videos in 2011, he would take up learning videography to promote his products and sell courses shortly after, amassing a following of 200,000 by YouTube subscribes by 2017.
