Damon Dayoub

Damon Dayoub was an American television actor who in 2015 landed his breakout role as Detective Quincy on the science-fiction drama "Stitchers" (Freeform, 2015-). Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Dayoub had never set his sights on becoming an actor. Both his mother and father had stable jobs as working professionals, and in many ways, his folks expected young Damon to follow in their footsteps. When it came time for college Dayoub stayed in Texas, attending the University of Texas at Austin. It was while attending the school, however, that the acting bug finally bit him. Before long Dayoub was appearing in both local and national commercials for companies like freecreditscore.com and Toyota. With his commercials acting credits growing, however, Dayoub knew that if he ever wanted to land a role on a TV show he would need to move to Los Angeles. With that in mind Damon Dayoub packed his bags in January of 2007 and moved to Hollywood. It would be another couple of years before he nabbed his first part, a small role in the 2009 action-thriller "Dead End Falls." Over the next few years Dayoub landed a number of guest spots on television shows like "Brothers & Sisters" (ABC, 2006-2011) and "Dallas" (TNT, 2012-14). In 2013 he appeared on three episodes of "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-), while appearing in the short film "Stepping Out" (2013). With his television-acting career on the rise, Dayoub landed his big break in 2015 when he joined the cast of the science fiction series "Stitchers." Dayoub was also cast in the pilot episode of Shonda Rhimes' legal thriller "The Catch" (ABC, 2016-), but was replaced by the actor Peter Krause after the show went to series in 2016. Undeterred, Dayoub returned to "Stitchers" for the second season in March of 2016.
