Grace Santos
Grace Santos is a Filipino-American, award winning producer, actor, attorney, and executive. She has been an actor in plays and films since childhood. Santos graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami with a double major in International Studies and Religious Studies and a minor in Theatre Arts. She also spent a year at Flinders University of South Australia's Drama Centre. She achieved the rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma. She earned a Juris Doctor/law degree from Stetson University and is licensed to practice law in Florida. Santos then earned a Producing Certificate from the UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television. In 2020, she was selected to participate in the highly-selective Producers Guild of America Power of Diversity Lab. She has worked as an executive for companies that have financed, produced, and distributed hundreds of films and television content. As Vice President of Business Affairs for companies owned by producer Steven Paul, Santos negotiated development, production, domestic distribution, and foreign sales deals. She was one of the year-round staff for the Bentonville Film Festival, co-founded by Academy Award winner Geena Davis, which has a mission to promote women and people of color in media and entertainment and to help them secure distribution deals with its sponsors Paramount Studios, SONY, Warner Bros, and Lionsgate. Productions she has been involved with include "The Rewrite" (2014) starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei, "Pay The Ghost" (2015) starring Nicolas Cage, and "Bone Tomahawk"(2015) starring Kurt Russell. She was also involved in "Run Sweetheart Run"(2020) with Amazon Studios, Universal and Blumhouse Productions and the film "The Inspection" (2022) with A24 Films. The last of these has garnered 25 nominations so far, including the Golden Globes, Independent Spirit Awards, and Gotham Awards. Santos works in the Creative Development, Production, and Business Affairs Departments at Michael Mendelsohn's Patriot Pictures. She is currently working on an upcoming Filipino-American comedy series executive produced by Meriden Angeles.
