John Finnegan

John Finnegan's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Finnegan began his acting career with roles in such films as "Play It As It Lays" (1972), the comedic drama "Nickelodeon" (1976) with Ryan O'Neal and "The Killing of a Chinese Bookie" (1976) with Ben Gazzara. He also appeared in the drama "Heroes" (1977) with Henry Winkler and the dramatic fantasy "Opening Night" (1979) with Gena Rowlands. Finnegan also lent his vocal talents to the Clint Eastwood action movie "Dirty Harry" (1971). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the sports drama "The Natural" (1984) with Robert Redford, "Love Streams" (1984) with Gena Rowlands and the comedy "School Spirit" (1985) with Tom Nolan. He also appeared in "The Journey of Natty Gann" (1985). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the historical romance "Come See the Paradise" (1990) with Dennis Quaid, the Peter Falk drama "A Woman Under the Influence" (1991) and the Kevin Costner dramatic adaptation "J.F.K." (1991). Finnegan last appeared in "Columbo Likes the Nightlife" (ABC, 2003-04). Finnegan passed away in July 2012 at the age of 86.
