Kacey Ainsworth

Born, in Ware, England, Kacey Ainsworth's first onscreen appearance was in a supporting role on "Peak Practice" (ITV, 1993-2002) in 1995. She also played a small role in the internationally lauded Mike Leigh film "Topsy Turvy" (1999). That said, she was first and arguably best known for her portrayal of Little Mo on the popular TV soap "EastEnders" (BBC One, 1985-). Ainsworth began her run on the show in 2000 and left in 2006 after appearing in over 500 episodes and winning a number of awards for her performance. The next year, she was a series regular on "Holby Blue" (BBC One, 2007-2008), playing one of the Inspectors on the police procedural spin-off from the popular medical drama "Holby City" (BBC One, 1999-). After that show ended in 2008, Ainsworth continued to work on screen, playing supporting roles in shows like "Rock & Chips" (BBC One, 2010-2011) and "Midsomer Murders" (ITV, 1997-) and a regular supporting role in the short lived "The Wright Way" (BBC One, 2013). In 2014, she premiered as the wife of Detective Inspector Keating on the popular 1950s-set mystery show "Grantchester" (ITV, 2014-), and, in 2017, played Miss Gullet in "The Worst Witch" (CBBC, 2017-) an adaptation of a series of short novels for children.
