Kellie Parker

American actress Kellie Parker was featured as one of the three young children in Michael Jackson's 1988 music video movie "Moonwalker," along with Sean Lennon and Brandon Quintin Adams. She began her career as a child actress, securing a guest part in the Michael Landon family TV drama "Highway to Heaven" in 1986. Two years later, she won a role in "Moonwalker," a project that was designed as a companion to Jackson's "Bad" album. In the film, which combines different short films and music videos, Parker stars as Katie in the extended version of the video for "Smooth Criminal." Katie, Sean (Lennon), and Zeke (Adams) are homeless children who have become friends with Jackson. However, they see him attacked by the forces of gangster and drug lord Mr. Big (Joe Pesci). When Katie is kidnapped, Jackson utilizes his superpowers to defeat Mr. Big and his minions. The three children are then reunited with Jackson, and he takes them to see his band perform a cover of the Beatles' "Come Together." After "Moonwalker," Parker continued to act, albeit in smaller projects. She also took time away from performing to pursue her education, studying finance at California State University Northridge. As her career developed, Parker expanded her interests to include theater and dance, which ultimately led to a small role in the dance-centric romance "Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing & Charm School" in 2005.
