Lewis MacDougall

Wowing fans with his first feature film at age 12, Lewis MacDougall first took an interest in acting while taking improv classes at The Drama Studio in Edinburgh. MacDougall had never appeared on film or television, but when it was announced that auditions for the big budget fantasy film "Pan" (2015) would be happening in his area, his drama coach encouraged him to attend. MacDougall auditioned for the lead role of Peter, but was ultimately called back to read for the supporting role of Nibs. MacDougall eventually won the role. Friends at his school asked if the movie would be playing in theaters, unaware of the scale of the production. They were ultimately surprised to eventually see MacDougall's face appearing on posters around the city. After filming the feature-and making good friends with his costar, Levi Miller-MacDougall moved on to his next project, a fantasy drama with Felicity Jones, Sigourney Weaver, and Liam Neeson called "A Monster Calls" (2016), about a boy who escapes his difficult home and school life with the help of a fearsome protector. For his next project, MacDougall moved into less fantastical territory, appearing in the comedy-drama "Boundaries" (2017) alongside Vera Farmiga.
