Noah Danby

The son of famed Canadian painter Ken Danby, Noah Danby found his own artistic passion in the form of the performing arts. He first broke into television in the late 1990s with a string of one-off roles. However, by 2001 he'd landed a recurring role on the science-fiction/fantasy series "Witchblade." It would prove to be the first of many genre productions. While films offered Danby only bit parts, television allowed him to build his reputation with work on a number of sci-fi programs. After scoring one-off roles on the space odyssey series "Andromeda" and the alien abduction mystery "The 4400," Danby landed the recurring role of Cha'ra on the long-running adventure series "Stargate SG-1." In 2007, he was cast as a series regular on the action-packed sci-fi drama "Painkiller Jane," which starred Kristanna Loken. Danby may be best remembered for this show, where he played the short-tempered brute Connor King.
