Yootha Joyce

Yootha Joyce was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Joyce began her acting career with roles in such films as the Anne Bancroft dramatic adaptation "The Pumpkin Eater" (1964), "Die! Die! My Darling!" (1965) and the Dave Clark comedy "Having A Wild Weekend" (1965). She also appeared in the Paul Scofield dramatic adaptation "A Man For All Seasons" (1966). She kept working in film throughout the sixties, starring in the comedy "Kaleidoscope" (1966) with Warren Beatty, "Charlie Bubbles" (1967) with Albert Finney and "Our Mother's House" (1967) with Dirk Bogarde. During the latter half of her career, she continued to act in the David Hemmings thrilling mystery "Fragment of Fear" (1971), the adaptation "The Night Digger" (1971) with Patricia Neal and "George and Mildred" (1980). Joyce more recently acted on "Man About the House" (1982-83).
