Chasing Summer

Before Baja champions Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody set off on an epic dirt bike journey across Baja California they reflect on how they got their starts in racing, and on their careers up to now.

After dropping off their truck in Mexico with their buddy Juan, Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody have bike issues, but still enjoy some seriously rough terrain and cool off with ice-cold beer and tequila.

Quinn Cody has his first wipeout of the trip on an oil-slicked highway. Not to be outdone, Kendall Norman manages to get painfully stuck with a prickly cactus on the narrow single-track trail.

Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody go to Scorpion Bay, Baja California, while a helicopter captures some epic riding on the beach. By the day's end they make it to the peaceful oasis of Mission San Javier.

In Baja California, Quinn Cody and Kendall Norman celebrate Mexican Independence Day, then travel from the Sea of Cortez through mountainous dirt roads and stunning water into Mission San Luis Gonzaga.

Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody siphon off some petrol to make it to their home away from home: La Paz, Bolivia. There they relax, hit the beach and replace the much-needed tread on their tyres.
