Dates in Real Life

Although Ida and her boyfriend Marvin have never met in real life, Ida's world comes crashing down when he tells her he has met someone else. Ida takes off her VR goggles and reluctantly goes on a date in real life.

Jealous that Marvin has lost his virginity, Ida decides that she needs her own sexual experience. Ida gets advice from Teen, her closest friend in VR, who is actually an overweight, fifty-year-old German man.

Ida goes to great lengths to become comfortable with her own body, and discovers that she is either in the process of finding herself or losing what little is left.

Ida tries to get out of the VR bubble and get a job. Outside the basement, she is approached by a bunch of clingy old flames.

Ida lays down her sword and embraces real life. Her new extroverted existence is put to the test when she finds herself in the spotlight at a garden party.
