Detective Rintaro Imaizumi (Sota Fukushi) initially joined the Metropolitan Police Station in the hopes of joining the First Investigative Division. When he gets the news that he's being transferred, he thinks his dreams are finally coming true – only to learn that instead, he's assigned to the Public Relations department. To make matters worse, he's joining Section 2, which handles interactions between police and the press, and Rintaro has a personal vendetta against reporters after a traumatic prior case. Despite his personal misgivings, he's forced to make things work at the risk of losing his job entirely. Can Rintaro find a place for himself in a department that he doesn't think he belongs in, or will this be the end of his career as a detective?
