Tommy, Nikki and Daniel discover their parents are undercover spies for an environmental protection agency. When they suddenly take them on an unplanned holiday, the kids suspect they are on a mission, and start snooping around.

The siblings form a task force called "Spyders". They soon discover important information about Goodman, the owner of the guesthouse they're renting, and pass it on to their parents without arousing suspicion.

Sean is disappointed when Nikki suddenly bails on him. Anna and Noah use the information given by the kids to advance their investigation. Nikki continues spying and takes Tommy with her. Daniel meets Sophie, who gets excited by his video games.

Nikki tries to save Tommy who is trapped in a car driven by Goodman's partner. Anna and Noah try to get a copy of the Blue Bird manual. Daniel is infatuated with Sophie. Nikki convinces Daniel they must break into Goodman's office.

The parents find out about the Spyders, but refuse to involve them in their mission. Goodman's partner meets up with the biker who dried up the lake. Tommy confronts a bully in drama class. Nikki and Sean go rowing in the lake.

Nikki saves Noah during a mission. In turn, he lets her in on the investigation. Daniel hears this and demands to join too. Sean notices the lake's water level is decreasing. Tommy finds out that the family is going on a mission without him.
