S1, E5: The elevator, in which Kota Kitami (Ryohei Suzuki)’s younger sister Suzuka Kitami (Shiori Sato) and a pregnant woman are inside, suddenly stops due to a sudden fire. Naoto Otowa (Kento Kaku) and a prominent politician, Yugen Amanuma, (Bunchin Katsura), are trapped along with them. As the elevator fills with smoke and air becomes scarce, the pregnant woman’s condition worsens. Tokyo MER receives an order to prioritize the treatment of Amanuma, the politician. Otowa must make the ultimate choice as the fire rages on on the other side of the elevator. What will Kitami do to save the lives of the mother and the child? Tokyo MER members take on a desperate rescue mission!
