Kyle Harris

Kyle Harris vaulted quickly from the New York stage to television via a string of roles as earnest, appealing young men on series like "Beauty and the Beast" (The CW, 2012-16) and "Stitchers" (Freeform, 2015-). Born in Irvine, California, Harris was initially devoted to soccer, but fell into acting during high school in order to impress a girl who had auditioned for a production of "Grease." Harris also won a role in the show, and found that making audiences laugh held greater appeal than his sports achievements. After graduating from the University of Arizona, he moved to New York in 2009 to try his hand at the city's fabled theater scene. Within a year's time, he was co-starring in a production of "Sondheim on Sondheim," which was quickly followed by the role of Tony in a national touring production of "West Side Story" in 2010. Harris soon began auditioning for film and television, and found his first roles on popular web series like "High Maintenance" (Vimeo/Netflix, 2012-). His first television appearance came via the short-lived "Carrie Diaries," which was followed by more episodic work on "Beauty and the Beast" (The CW, 2012-16). In 2015, Harris landed his first role as a series regular on "Stitchers," a science fiction drama about a woman (Emma Ishta) recruited by a secret government organization to investigate unsolved murders by being inserted, or "stitched," into their memories. Harris played Dr. Cameron Goodkin, the scientist in charge of the procedure.
