Natalie Denise Sperl

Natalie Denise Sperl

Natalie Denise Sperl credits her parents with giving her the encouragement to pursue her dream of acting. She first began acting as a teenager in high school, going on from there to study with the renowned Second City improv group. Following her studies, she performed stand-up comedy in Los Angeles, as well as becoming an in-demand fashion model, before landing her first acting gigs. Her earliest on-screen credit came in 1995, but she didn't really begin her career until eight years later, when she was in three different productions, including what proved to be her big break in the Wim Wenders short "Other Side of the Road." Her success that year, led to a string of roles. In 2004, she was in the Jackie Chan action-comedy "Around the World in 80 Days," the romantic comedy "Little Black Book," and the thriller "Death Valley." In 2006, she appeared in a Superbowl commercial with musician Kid Rock, which served to boost her reputation further. That year proved to be her busiest to date, with her appearing in nine different productions, including sitcoms "Two and a Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother," and crime series "CSI: Miami." She has since had roles in the crime film "Alibi" in 2007, the thriller "Trapped in Perfection," and the sci-fi TV movie "Rock Monster."
