Phill Lewis
Phill Lewis began his directing career in film but has since moved into television. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Lewis acted in comedies like "How I Got Into College" (1989) and the Billy Crystal hit "City Slickers" (1991). He had an early role on the television special "Just a Regular Kid: An AIDS Story" (ABC, 1987-88). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "A Different World" (NBC, 1987-1993). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the comedy "Bowfinger" (1999) with Steve Martin, the Garry Shandling comedy "What Planet Are You From?" (2000) and "Spent" (2000) with Jason London. In addition to his directing, Lewis also appeared on-screen in "Your Family Or Mine" (TBS, 2015). Most recently, Lewis directed "Superior Donuts" (CBS, 2017-).
