When married couple Ava (Kaley Cuoco) and Nathan (Chris Messina) come to the harsh realization that their youthful dreams are not coming to fruition, they devise a plan to collaborate with an enigmatic plumber (Tom Bateman) they have recently hired, whom they have come to believe is an infamous serial killer on the loose.
