In 1998, economics professor Yip and his pupil Hong formed "CASH" to fight against financial superpowers. They were wiped out, Hong fled. Now Yip is a prominent government official colluding with business moguls. Hong returns for revenge. A battle rocking the whole finance world ensues.

As Hong decimates financial conglomerates, "CASH" catches the attention of Fang in the Securities and Futures Commission. Hong asks her to investigate certain illegal dealings, during which she reveals a secret from Yip’s past. Hong discovers he is walking into Yip’s trap.

Hong delays implementation of the “Tomorrow Fund” and tries to block its issue. Hong employs numerous dirty tactics to get the senators to vote no. Betrayals and exploitations ensue. Yip reveals his endgame, which may turn the whole situation around. After all, this game is all about human nature.

Hong is jailed for stealing insider information. The next year, the “Tomorrow Fund” is listed on the stock exchange, bringing the city into the Era of the Stock Market. This is a game where no one wins and Hong is hoping to change the course of history.
