A BAU case hits close to home for Morgan, who was a cop before joining the team, when a serial killer specifically focuses on members of the police force in Phoenix, Ariz.

Having been accused of murder, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is on the run from the FBI, with help from her father Max (guest star Ryan O’Neal). Booth (David Boreanaz) and the Jeffersonian team are convinced evil tech genius Christopher Pelant (guest star Andrew Leeds) has manipulated key evidence in the case to pinpoint Brennan as the prime suspect. Then, an anonymous tip leads the team to the remains of a high school guidance counselor that may hold the key to proving Brennan’s innocence.

The final episode of the drama sees Michael and his compatriots make one last bid to bring down the Company.

Sydney's theory that Sloane is trying to re-form the Alliance threatens her relationship with Nadia, who refuses to believe her father is double-crossing the CIA. Meanwhile, Vaughn learns the first of possibly many startling secrets about his father. Angela Bassett guest stars as CIA Director Hayden Chase.
