As Bill, captain of the Bounty Hunter, struggles to stay out of the red, Dave gives him false advice that sends him farther away from the fish.

With just two weeks left until the end of tuna fishing season, Bounty Hunter gains a new deckhand. Paul, formerly of Tuna.com, joins the crew, and Captain Bill hopes he will help turn the boat's luck around. But tensions flare when Paul tries to teach a few things to First Mate Scott leaving questions about whether the new arrangement will work.

A hard season prompts Capt. Ralph to lash out at his first mate, Pirate; after defecting from Tuna.com, First Mate Paul must prove his worth to his new captain.

It’s week six of the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna season and the captains of Gloucester, Massachusetts face unwelcome competition from pleasure boaters and novice fishermen. Nicknamed “googans” or “weekend warriors” by the commercial fleet, these amateurs swarm into Gloucester waters, attracted by warm weather and dreams of landing a big tuna. The captains are pushed to the breaking point when the blundering newcomers cause them to lose tuna after tuna – costing them potential paydays of up to $20,000 for a single fish.

It is week eight of the North Atlantic Bluefin tuna fishing season; and cracks are starting to show in the Gloucester fleet; with captains and crews pushing each other – and their boats - to the limit. Tensions mount and friendships are tested as the fleet fights to land lucrative bluefin paychecks.

It’s a battle of wills on the North Atlantic, as two of top fishermen friends-turned-foes Paul Hebert and Dave Carraro go head-to-head in a bid to out-fish each other. Dave fired Paul as first mate on FV-tuna.com, but now Paul is captaining a new boat.
