Billy West

Voiceover actor Billy West is best known for his work on the cartoon shows "Ren & Stimpy" and "Doug," supplying the voices of Ren and Doug, respectively. West started his career in Boston in the 1980s as a comedian and radio DJ. Following a move to New York City, he joined the raucous staff of "The Howard Stern Show," where he provided many character voices, including those of Connie Chung and Rudy Giuliani. West has voiced over 120 different characters in commercials, TV, video games, and film -- including the animated sports movie "Space Jam" with Michael Jordan and Matt Groening's cult hit "Futurama," where West voices series lead Fry. His talents have also been put to good use replicating Mel Blanc's original voices of Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. Notably, West is quite vocal in his disapproval of using movie stars for voiceover work in film and TV. In addition to his work in the voice booth, West plays guitar, sings, and writes songs for his band, Billy West and the Grief Counselors.
