Jim Grimshaw

Actor Jim Grimshaw was known for his roles on the silver screen. Grimshaw's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "King Kong Lives" (1986) with Peter Elliot, the Louis Jourdan comedy sequel "The Return of Swamp Thing" (1989) and "Days of Thunder" (1990) with Tom Cruise. He also appeared in the TV movie "Alone in the Neon Jungle" (CBS, 1987-88). He additionally was featured in the miniseries "Dream West" (1985-86) and "Sidney Sheldon's "Windmills of the Gods"" (1987-88). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in "The Handmaid's Tale" (1990), the horror sequel "Basket Case 3: The Progeny" (1992) with Kevin Van Hentenryck and the action picture "Chasers" (1994) with Tom Berenger. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "I'll Fly Away" (NBC, 1991-93). Recently, he tackled roles in the crime flick "The Gingerbread Man" (1998) with Kenneth Branagh, the Jeremy Irons dramatic adaptation "Lolita" (1998) and "Instinct" (1999). He also appeared in "Chill Factor" (1999) and the Denzel Washington box office smash dramatic sports film "Remember the Titans" (2000). Most recently, Grimshaw acted in the action movie "We Were Soldiers" (2002) with Mel Gibson.
