Paco Cabezas

Writer and screenwriter Paco Cabezas was born in Seville, Spain. After writing and directing a few of his own independently produced films, including "Invasión Travesti" (2000) and "Neon Flesh" (2005), Cabezas went on to write and direct "The Appeared" in 2007. The film was a Spanish-language horror movie about two siblings on a road trip who discover a journal detailing horrific crimes committed in the past. The next year, he wrote the script for Spanish horror comedy "Sexykiller" (2008). In 2010 Cabezas adapted "Neon Flesh" from a short to a feature, and directed it himself. In 2014, Cabezas was responsible for writing and directing "I Premios Feroz," the first awards show for the Spain-based film awards, which were hosted by actress Alexandra Jiminez. In 2015 Cabezas had his Hollywood breakthrough when he directed the film "Mr. Right" (2015). The film was a romantic action-comedy, and starred Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick, Tim Roth, and hip-hop star RZA, and was given a closing night premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
