Woman In Love

In order to finally gain a foothold in showbiz, the struggling stage actor Alexander (Matthias Schweighöfer) decides to transform himself into the long-legged starlet Alexandra – and is hired on the spot. A perfect plan until he meets his fellow actress, superstar Sarah (Alexandra Maria Lara), whom he falls madly in love with. But how do you hit on the woman of your dreams when she sees you as her confidante and best friend? To add to Alexander's woes, he also has to battle a pushy colleague and a catty ex-girlfriend. Troubles which are proving to be more than a man (or a woman) can cope with. His brothers (Detlev Buck, Maximilian Brückner) and their buddy (Denis Moschitto) are not exactly helping either.
