Turi Meyer

Writer Turi Meyer has been an integral part of the Superman prequel series "Smallville" since 2005, when he became a story editor for the show. He had his first credit as a writer for "Smallville" in 2006 with the episode "Vengeance," and that same year he became an executive story editor for the series. Meyer continued to write episodes himself, notably "Labyrinth," "Bride," and "Injustice," and in 2010, he directed two episodes of "Smallville." Meyer served as a producer on the show for 22 episodes, a supervising producer for 12 episodes, and a co-executive producer for 16 episodes in 2010. Before he got involved in "Smallville," Meyer wrote for horror features like "Leprechaun 2" and "Sleepstalker," and in 2001, he was a director for an episode of the cult show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." He directed three episodes of another Joss Whedon vampire show, "Angel." He also contributed to the script of the Carrot Top vehicle "Chairman of the Board" in 1998.
