5-9 From Five to Nine

Part-time English conversation school instructor Junko Sakuraba trips at a funeral and falls near the chanting monk, Takane Hoshikawa. In the ensuing confusion, noise fills the ceremonial hall. Takane is blunt with Junko: “You’re too old to be let off with a pass for being cute.” Junko is incensed by the remark, but realizes the monk is right. One day, Junko gives in to her parents and has a prospective arranged marriage interview, but is shocked when the man that shows up is Takane.
