Oblomov

Convinced of the futility of all worldly endeavor, young aristocrat Oblomov (Oleg Tabakov) quits his job and effectively retires from life. He rarely leaves his bed, preferring sleep above all else, and the dreams that frequently take him back to his idyllic childhood and beloved mother. His old friend Stoltz (Yuri Bogatryev), who has become a successful businessman, tries to reform him, but Oblamov resists. It's only when he meets the charming Olga (Elena Solovei) that his spirit revives.
