BB Pradhan, a retired headmaster, has to confront the tragedy of his only son's death in New York, alongside his grieving wife, Parvati. Without their son's income, the couple decide to rent a room but soon find themselves involved in the troubled affairs of their young guest, Sujata, with dangerous and far-reaching consequences.
