Actress Julie Ann Emery became commonly known for her roles in television dramas. In 1998, she received rave reviews in the title role of "Gypsy," at Marriott's Lincolnshire Theatre in Chicago. She continued to work steadily in television dramas throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Commander in Chief" (ABC, 2005-06). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Snow Wonder" (CBS, 2005). She also worked in film during these years, including a part on the Will Smith box office smash romantic comedy "Hitch" (2005).
