Alex Ferris

Canadian actor Alex Ferris was acting professionally by age six, appearing uncredited in the 2004 television movie "The Five People You Meet in Heaven," based on the best-selling Mitch Albom book of the same name. He continued to act primarily on television with appearances on cult science fiction show "Stargate SG-1," "Eureka," dark fantasy show "Supernatural," and the Canadian mini-series "Terminal City." Ferris had his first role in a theatrical release with 2006's "RV" alongside Robin Williams, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Daniels, and Kristen Chenoweth. He expanded his film resume with an appearance in the superhero action movie "X-Men: The Last Stand," but continued to act primarily for television with recurring roles on "The L Word" and "jPod." Ferris went on to score more visible roles, with parts in the romantic fantasy film "The Time Traveler's Wife," with Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams (he played the younger Bana), family comedy "Tooth Fairy," with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," based on the popular book. He continued to act on television as well, appearing in shows such as "Smallville" as well as the "Battlestar Galactica" movie "The Plan." He has also appeared in a couple of episodes of the quirky sci-fi comedy show "Eureka" and, in a sign that he's maturing, the more adult-themed thriller " Replicas."
