Jackie Jackson

Jackie Jackson worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. In her early acting career, Jackson appeared in such films as "The Great Lover" (1949), the Myrna Loy drama "The Red Pony" (1949) and the comedy "Ma and Pa Kettle on Vacation" (1953) with Marjorie Main. She also appeared in the Marjorie Main comedy "Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki" (1955). In the seventies and the eighties, Jackson devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Jackson Five" (ABC, 1971-73), "The Jacksons" (CBS, 1975-77) and "Say Amen, Somebody - The Good News Musical" (1982). She also worked on "Touch and Go" (1986) and "Burglar" with Whoopi Goldberg (1987). In the eighties through the nineties, Jackson lent her talents to projects like "The Running Man" (1987), "The Jackson Family Honors" (NBC, 1993-94) and ""We Are the World": A 10th Anniversary Tribute" (Disney, 1994-95). Her credits also expanded to "Superfights" (HBO, 1996-97) and "Beloved" (1998) starring Oprah Winfrey. Jackson most recently acted on "The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty" (A&E Network, 2009-2010).
