Levi Miller

Australian actor Levi Miller was plucked from relative obscurity to play the lead in the Hollywood reimagining of J.M. Barrie's most famous work, "Pan" (2015). Born in Brisbane, Miller made his on-screen debut in "Akiva" (2010), a short film in which a sheltered Holocaust survivor gains a new lease on life after meeting a curious young boy. A year later, he played a young fisherman in "A Heartbeat Away" (2011), Gale Edwards' musical about a marching band in a small town, and landed a minor speaking role in the "Vs." episode of the parallel universe sci-fi drama "Terra Nova" (Fox, 2011). Miller then starred opposite Jack Henry in "Great Adventures" (2012), a touching short which explored both the bond between a young boy and his grandfather and the power of imagination, before taking a break from the industry to concentrate on his schoolwork. Miller then took his fledgling career to another level in 2014 when he beat thousands of young actors in a worldwide casting call to land the iconic lead role in Joe Wright's fantasy adventure, "Pan" (2015). Appearing alongside Hugh Jackman, Rooney Mara and Garrett Hedlund, Miller played a very different version of Peter Pan, a wartime orphan who teams up with a young Captain Hook to bring down the pirate, Blackbeard, who kidnapped him. Following his stint in Neverland, Miller returned to his homeland to star as Mick, a bright and resourceful youngster living on a Pilbara cattle station in the 1960s, in "Blue Dog" (2016), a prequel to the Australian box-office hit, "Red Dog" (2011), which charted the legendary dog's rise to fame.
