George R. Robertson

George Robertson was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Devlin" (Showtime, 1992-93). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Horatio Alger Updated: Frank and Fearless" (ABC, 1982-83) and "Mad Avenue" (CBS, 1987-88). He also landed a few movie roles at the time, appearing in the Bubba Smith action movie "Police Academy 6: City Under Siege" (1989) and "J.F.K." (1991) with Kevin Costner. In the nineties, Robertson devoted his time to various credits, such as "Danielle Steel's" (NBC, 1994-95), "The Great Defender" (Fox, 1994-95) and "The Woodlanders" (1997) starring Rufus Sewell. He also worked on "Summer of Sam" (1999). Robertson's music was also featured in the comedy sequel "American Reunion" (2012) with Jason Biggs, the Adam Sandler smash hit animated picture "Hotel Transylvania" (2012) and "Think Like a Man Too" (2014). Robertson's music was most recently used in the dramatic adaptation "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" (2016) with John Krasinski. In addition to his music, Robertson also appeared on-screen in "Haven" (Syfy, 2009-2015). George Robertson died on January 29, 2023 in Toronto, ON, Canada at the age of 89.
