Kali Rocha

Actress Kali Rocha gathered popular notice with scene-stealing comedic performances on TV sitcoms and film comedies. Born of Italian-American heritage in Memphis, Tennessee, Rocha was raised in Providence, Rhode Island and attended drama school at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University. She made her screen debut with a bit part in director Nicholas Hytner's 1996 adaptation of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," following it up with another dramatic role in the 1997 docudrama miniseries "Liberty! The American Revolution." But it was her recurring role as vengeance demon Halfrek on cult hit "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that would establish her as an able comedic character actress. Rocha landed a series of fondly-remembered guest roles in the 2000s, most notably as a scrappy flight attendant who throws down with Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) in the hit 2000 comedy "Meet the Parents"--a character she would reprise in the film's 2004 sequel, "Meet the Fockers." The actress capped off the decade starring opposite Sherri Shepherd on the short-lived Lifetime sitcom "Sherri."
