Rocky Chan (Eric Tsang), a triangle percussionist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, is a shy character who is always nervous and awkward due to his height – a mere five feet. On the evening of his 1st wedding anniversary, Rocky returns home to find that his wife has left him.His best friend Charlie (Sam Lui), owner of a modelling agency, and his girlfriend Mildred (Rowena Lam) arrive to find a grief-stricken Rocky. Charlie decides to introduce ladies of all characters to Rocky, creating a series of comic situations. Charlie, who is an extremely busy man, tends to neglect Mildred who is growing rather tired of their relationship. Mildred has an accident and has to stay in hospital but Charlie goes on a nosiness trip leaving her to Rocky. Rocky takes very good care of her and they fall in love with each other. Upon Charlie’s return, Rocky is torn between love for Mildred and his loyalty towards Charlie. Mildred tells Charlie that they are through and Charlie goes to Rocky’s place to get drunk. Accidentally, he finds out that Mildred’s new boyfriend is Rocky. Charlie chases Rocky to try and kill him but cuts himself instead. In the hospital, Rocky leaves when he sees Mildred taking care of Charlie. Is Mildred going to make up with Charlie or will she still choose Rocky?
