Feng, female conductor raised overseas, meets Tong, NPO Orchestra principal. Inspired by the wild fantasy of Zhang, president of NTCH, along with half of a mysterious score and a strange yet familiar tribal melody, the disagreeing pair was forced to undertake together the flagship project of the year – combining indigenous tribal music with classical symphony. Packed between a tight schedule and deliberate pressure from the management, will Feng and Tong be reminded of their original passion, and successfully choreograph a spectacularly extraordinary performance based on half a tune that is distantly recalled?
