Elena
Elena is a factory worker moving between jobs. But a car accident leads her to being introduced to the world of the violin, which in turn ends up leading to a job as a violin teacher. However, the hourly pay is meager with her monthly salary barely exceeding what she used to receive as a factory worker. Consequently she feels she is failing in her dream of moving up in social class, and mocks herself as being merely "a blue-collar violin teacher". To make up for her low income and to supplement her violin classes, she chooses to perform at banquets and funerals. However her new career, which revolves mostly around children and their parents, precludes any chance of her meeting a boyfriend. Elena, who is now 35 years old, witnesses her relatives getting married one after another, and finds herself being isolated. Worried about getting old alone, she turns to a marriage matchmaking agency, and subsequently decides that she has to get married within one year so that she can start her "ideal happy life". Improving one's fate and climbing the social ladder is not as simple as merely changing one's job however. Indeed her career move has made her situation worse in terms of love and family, as well as her salary. Following consequent bouts of depression, she nevertheless realizes that the violin is the only thing she can rely on. She decides to return to the starting point of her love for music, and fight for her life. With the bow as her sword and the violin as her shield, she begins to play the role of a masked heroine, putting on impromptu music shows in unexpected corners of the city. Elena, phoenix-like, swears to retrieve her most innocent instincts of love, and break out in search of love once more..
