Christopher Judge is a Los Angeles-born TV, film, and voice actor best known for his role as steadfast Jaffa warrior Teal'c on the long-running sci-fi TV series "Stargate SG-1." Judge initially pursued sports as a stepping stone to his acting career, earning a football scholarship at the University of Oregon. After graduating, Judge returned to L.A. and began earning parts in various TV dramas and sitcoms. Judge's first big break however came when he was cast as recurring character Officer Richard Stiles on the '90s crime drama series "Sirens." The show was a critical favorite, but was cancelled in 1995 after two seasons. Judge bounced back two years later with a supporting role on the cult favorite science fiction drama "Stargate SG-1"; his character, a taciturn but honorable alien, became a particular fan favorite during the series' 10-year run. During his tenure on "Stargate SG-1," Judge branched into behind the scenes work, writing one episode each for the series' fifth through eighth seasons. In 2000, Judge began voicing lead villain Magneto in the animated TV series "X-Men: Evolution."
