艾洛蒂·袁
Elodie Yung was a French film and television actress who became known to America audiences in 2016 after appearing as Elektra on season two of Netflix's "Daredevil" (2015-). Born and raised in Paris to a French mother and Cambodian father, Yung had various interests growing up - none of which were acting. Her first love was karate, and over the course of her early childhood and teens Yung worked studiously on her craft, before earning her black belt at 20. It was also around this time that Yung began turning her attention towards acting. She quickly landed a recurring TV role on the French program "La vie devant nous" (2002-). After appearing in 30 episodes of the show Yung moved on to film acting, with parts in "The Great Challenge" (2004), "Fragile(s)" (2007), and "Home Sweet Home" (2008). Then in 2011 she landed her first major Hollywood film role in the David Fincher-directed "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (2011). Yung played the love interest of the character Lisbeth Salander. The success of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" put Yung on the radar of various American casting agents who soon began to cast her in other big budget Hollywood films like "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" (2013) and "Still" (2014). Then in 2016 she nabbed her biggest American part to date when she appeared as the female superhero Elektra on season two of Netflix's "Daredevil." All 13 episodes of the second season were released on the global streaming website in early 2016.
