Model turned actress Lili Simmons moved assuredly from teen-oriented projects like "Geek Charming" (Disney Channel, 2011) to more emboldened and mature roles, often as women with complicated pasts, on "Banshee" (Cinemax, 2013-16), "True Detective" (HBO, 2014-) and "Ray Donovan" (Showtime, 2013-). Born Lili Marie Simmons in the San Diego County, California town of Cardiff-by-the-Sea on July 23, 1993, she began her career as a model, working initially with Ford Models and later appearing in print ads and television commercials for Saturn, J.C. Penney and other companies. Simmons moved into acting with the 2010 television series "Hollywood is Like High School with Money" (Alloy Entertainment, 2010), and soon found steady work in kid-friendly productions for the Disney Channel like "Zeke and Luther" (2010-12) and the made-for-TV feature "Geek Charming."
