Luke Mably, who grew up making horror films with his friends, has appeared in everything from British TV series to Hollywood romantic comedies. After graduating from the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, Mably made his acting debut on the medical series "Holby City" as a hospital staffer who engages in inappropriate conduct with a patient, and quickly landed cameo roles on the gritty sports series "Dream Team" and the long-running soap opera "EastEnders." He appeared as a crazed soldier in "28 Days Later," Danny Boyle's massively successful horror film about the broken-down survivors of a global virus epidemic, and scored a small but memorable role as a struggling fashion designer in "Color Me Kubrick," based on the real-life story of a man who for decades impersonated notoriously reclusive director Stanley Kubrick. One of his biggest roles came in 2005 when he was cast in the romantic comedy "The Prince and Me" as Prince Edvard, who rebels against his royal duties by posing as a typical American college student and falling in love with a feisty classmate (Julia Stiles). Since then Mably has appeared in the psychological thriller "Exam," portrayed a vampire in the short-lived supernatural drama "The Gates," and been cast as an army surgeon in the Afghanistan-set "Combat Hospital."
