2016 World Series Game 1: Cubs at Indians
S1, E1: Corey Kluber struck out nine in six-plus innings -- including a World Series-record eight in the first three frames -- to lead Cleveland's 15-K Game 1 shutout. Andrew Miller used three punchouts to work out of jams in the seventh and eighth, and Cody Allen struck out the side in the ninth. The Indians got to Jon Lester right off the bat, scoring a pair in the first, and they added on in the fourth on a Roberto Perez solo homer before turning it into a rout on Perez's three-run shot in the eighth.
