S7, E1: The Chi is mourning Rob’s death along with Alicia (LYNN WHITFIELD) as she starts her rampage, on a mission to find her son’s killer. Nuck (CORTEZ SMITH) takes over as the new leader of the 63rd street mob with Bakari (AHMAD FURGESON) as his right hand. As the news about Rob spreads, Fatima (L'LERRET JAZELLE) tells Victor (LUKE JAMES) that the violence is too much and gives him a heavy ultimatum. The Chi women surround Tiff (HANNAHA HALL) with love and support as she grieves. Bakari makes a deal to secure his future and his dreams of writing his book, but at what cost? When Victor challenges Pastor Ezekiel (DANIEL J. WATTS) to help stop the violence, Pastor Zeke makes a shocking new acquaintance to do just that. Jake (MICHAEL EPPS) buys himself from under Zay’s (AARON GUY) control but not without a fight. Zay ends his night on a heavy-hitting high right before he meets with his fate from an unlikely foe.
