S9, E8: Hanza Nukui, the leader of Gyokaku Kumoi's assassins, has misjudged the power of Ichigo and his friends, and has failed to assassinate Rurichiyo. He forms a unit of assassins, armed with powerful Bakkouto swords, and prepares to go back to the World of the Living. Around that time, in the World of the Living, Kenryu and Enryu put up a barrier around their house, and everyone takes turns watching after Rurichiyo. Rurichiyo notices she is under close guard, but she has not been filled in on the situation and is thus clearly confused. That evening, Rurichiyo tells Ichigo that she thinks she is constantly causing trouble to those around her. Just then, Gyokaku Kumoi's assassins appear in the World of the Living.
