S4, E28: When Jin Kariya reveals that the true mission of the Bounts is to destroy the Soul Society, Ichigo is shocked. Bounts are by-products of the Soul Society's soul experiments. Unable to release his bankai, Ichigo is attacked by Kariya. His Getsugatensho proves useless, and Ichigo is unable to move. Kariya takes Ichigo’s zangetsu from him and points it at Ichigo. Meanwhile, an unidentified shadow approaches Rukia and the gang as they receive Orihime's medical treatment.
